SMILE

Smile

A smile
Is a great weapon
It can hold captive a heart
And make it feel free
It can connect strangers
In kindness
In the acknowledgement
Of existence
It is the innocence
That we all crave
A beautiful thing
To gaze upon
To remember

to remain free.
